Carved in Stone - Proof of Concept
Amelia is guided by her mentor in an expedition, to restore artifacts to their rightful place.
Carved in Stone - Proof of Concept was created to use as a pitch tool to acquire the green light for the full web series. To prepare for production, I used Unreal Engine to previsualize the film, with Twin Motion Posed Humans as character stand ins.
I laid out the environment in Blender and imported the fbx into Unreal. For the shrine collapse, I experimented with destruction physics for the first time. I know now that Chaos in Unreal is more suited for these effects. But at the time we were still using 4.27.
